I highly recommend using Red Desert Adventures!!! Jake, our guide was awesome! Very knowledgeable , great personality, and the canyons he choose were perfect. We did 2 day back to back trips, and will def be back next year for more!!

Red Desert Adventure offers canyoneering, rock climbing, and hiking trips. Our guides are safe, professional, and fun. Trips are private and all necessary equipment is included. Our services are available from Zion National Park Lodging locations. We run trips seven days a week year round.

CANYONEERING
The areas most prestigious trip. Canyoneering trips descend slot canyons and explore water carved landscapes. Guided trips are fast paced with an emphasis on doing. Rappelling is a part of every trip along with hiking, scrambling, stemming, sometimes wading and swimming. Our trips visit a diverse selection of canyon routes and areas. No experience is necessary for most trips.
ROCK CLIMBING
Join us for a trip into the vertical realm. Guided rock climbing trips ascend rock formation using technical equipment for protection. Climbing trips take place in many different areas and are able to offer sport, traditional, and multi-pitch options on a variety of different rock types. We also teach instructional climbing courses for participants looking to get into the discipline on their own. No experience is necessary.
HIKING
A wilderness experience away from the crowds. Hiking trips visit lesser known slot canyons, peaks, and slickrock hiking areas. These trips take place outside the boundaries of Zion National Park.
CANYONEERING INSTRUCTION
We teach modern canyoneering techniques and systems. Our curriculum has evolved over time into what we believe are the most practical courses available. See our Subway specific canyoneering course.
Utah Public Lands
Our trips take place on public lands. Zion National Park prohibits guided canyoneering and guided rock climbing. These activities must be done as a private party with in the park. This includes the subway. ZNP backcountry permits are required for all technical canyon routes. You are also required to know what you are doing. | We are licensed, insured, and permitted to operate on Kane County BLM, Washington County BLM Arizona Strip BLM, Henry Mountains Fields Station BLM, the Dixie National Forest, and the Utah State Trust Lands Administration. We love Utah Public Lands.
