Half Day Rock Climbing

4 hour duration. Plus or minus .05 hours. 

Start times vary depending on season. 

6AM to 8AM or 1PM to 3PM

Minimum age 5.

This is a great introduction to rock climbing for beginners or for intermediate climbers to experience the local areas. Half Day trips allow visitors plenty of time for other same day Zion area activities. Difficulty level can be adjusted to your abilities. Expect to climb multiple single pitch routes at a one climbing area. No experience is necessary.

This trip is available to visitors staying in Springdale, Rockville, Virgin, La Verkin, Hurricane, St George, or Cedar City. We offer pickups from many zion area hotels or will designate a convenient starting location depending on the best climbing areas available.

Climbing locations include Prophecy Wall, Lambs Knoll, Grapevine Wall, the Overlook, and other westside Zion areas. Rock types include Sandstone, Basalt, and Limestone.

1 or 2 liters of water

Hiking or running shoes for the approach.

Seasonally appropriate hiking attire. Base layers recommended for winter temps.
