Our guides routinely lead first-time participants through canyoneering routes that include a high number of long, technical rappels. With professional instruction, proper equipment, and close supervision, beginners consistently perform these rappels safely and confidently. The greater challenge for most guests is the sustained steep ascents and descents, which require endurance, balance, and comfort moving on rugged terrain.
